Have Your Say on the Buckinghamshire Pension Fund's Investment Strategy
We’re inviting members, employers and stakeholders of the Fund to take part in a consultation on our new Investment Strategy Statement (ISS) and Responsible Investment (RI) Policy, which have been approved in draft by the Pension Fund Committee.
These important documents set out how the Fund is managed and invested to support the long-term payment of members' benefits. They explain:
- how the Fund is invested
- the Fund's long-term investment objectives and strategy
- the approach taken to managing investment risks
- the Fund's approach to responsible investment, stewardship and engagement with the companies in which it invests
- the Fund’s approach to local investment
The draft documents are available to view on the Buckinghamshire Pension Fund website at: Funding and investment policies.
Consultation period
The consultation will be open from Monday 5 October to Thursday 5 November.
We encourage all interested parties to review the documents and share their views during this period. Comments, questions and feedback submitted after 5 November will not be considered.

Informal drop-in sessions
To help you learn more about the proposed policies, Fund Officers will be hosting two informal drop-in sessions. These sessions provide an opportunity to ask questions, discuss the proposals and gain a better understanding of the documents. There is no need to book in advance.
