P60s and Payslips – May 2026

If you are receiving a pension from us, you will receive a P60 by 31 May each year. Your P60 shows the total pension paid to you during the previous tax year, as well as any tax that has been deducted.

Your 2025/26 P60 is now available to view on our self-service portal, ‘My Pension Online’. If you haven’t logged in before, you’ll need to register first.

If you have chosen to opt out of online communications, your P60 will be sent to you by post. If you began receiving your pension after 1 April 2025, you will receive your first P60 next year.

For help understanding your P60, please refer to our guide on pages 10 and 11 of this year’s In-Touch newsletter.

Your May payslip

We issue printed payslips in May and September only and are unable to produce payslips at other times of the year. If you would like to see details of your monthly payments, they are available on ‘My Pension Online’.

Your May payslip will be issued by the end of this month.

Keep your details up to date

It is important that you update your address details if you move house. If your payslip or P60 is returned to us, we will suspend your pension payments until you provide written confirmation of your new address for security reasons.

You can check or update your address by logging into ‘My Pension Online’ and selecting ‘Update my details’. If you don’t use ‘My Pension Online’, you can tell us about a change of address by completing a change of details form.

What to do if you think your tax code is wrong

We are required to notify HM Revenue & Customs (HMRC) of the amount of pension you are receiving, and they issue your tax code accordingly. We have no control over tax codes or the amount of tax deducted from your pension and are unable to help with any tax-related queries you have.

If you have any queries about the tax you pay on your pension, please contact HMRC.
