Your 2024 Annual benefit statements
Until your pension is in payment, each year you’ll receive an annual benefit statement showing how much your pension is currently worth.

Your P60 and your May payslip
Each year we issue a P60 to everyone receiving a pension from us by 31 May. The P60 shows the amount of pension you have been paid and any tax that has been deducted during the previous year.

2024/2025 contribution rates published
Each April, the contribution rates table is updated to keep up with the cost of living. The table has now been updated for 2024/25.

LGPS pensions to receive a 6.7% boost this April
LGPS pensions are adjusted each year according to the CPI (Consumer Price Index) rate for the previous September. This year LGPS pensions will be increased by 6.7%.

Changes to pension tax rules from 6 April 2024
On 15 March 2023, the Chancellor unveiled the Spring Budget announcing changes to pension tax rules. The most significant of these changes was the abolition of the lifetime allowance from 6 April 2023.
